secondary care needs. In addition we operate a 24-hour standby emergency
department.

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Provides professional perioperative nursing care. Coordinates patient care
planning with other hospital disciplines. May perform specialized tasks as
outlined in the position competency check-off and task elements. Participates
in unit-based educational activities. Assumes “call” status as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

* Current CA RN License
* Current BLS Certified
* Minimum 6 month’s recent full-time operating room experience in an acute care hospital or the equivalent

Preferred:
* Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN)
* Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR)
* Member of Association of Perioperative Nurses (AORN)
* Knowledge of Det Norske Veritas (DNV)
