Essential Duties:

The Cosmetic Nurse Practitioner Injector provides consultations on skin care
products and services, and subsequently sells retail medical grade skin care
products and non- invasive cosmetic services appropriate for the
patient/clients that will make the anticipated changes in the patient/clients
appearance.

General Job Responsibilities:

* Evaluates patient/client needs to recommend appropriate skin care products and services during the consultation
* Performs in-depth interview sessions with patient/clients, reviewing the risks and benefits, obtaining signed consents for procedures, including medical history and skin consultation and evaluation
* Performs neurotoxin and filler injections according to accepted standards of practice and completing the med spa competency with the Clinical Manager
* Maintains accurate documentation of treatment in all patient/client medical records
* Assists the Medical Director as directed and maintains contact as appropriate and necessary to practice needs.
* Available for on-call telemedicine patient clearance during SpaKinect downtimes.
* Reviews and signs patient medical charts for all assigned locations
* Provides prescriptions as needed for patients (i.e. prophylactic doses or post procedure medical needs)
* Evaluates, diagnoses and treats patients with adverse reaction either in person or via telemedicine when necessary.
* Consult medical director as needed and relay information accurately
* Participate in monthly Midlevel meetings
* Act as liasison for locations staff members to communicate educational needs
* Trainer and resource for new hires
* Manages payment transactions, including cash, check, credit card and gift certificates
* Assists with maintaining an appropriate inventory, notifies management when the inventory is low or needs to be ordered
* Assists to unpack and store orders appropriately
* Provides information and education for inquiries about all med spa products and services offered
* Maintains a professional neat appearance individually and adheres to approved dress code by the General Manager
* Ensures that all work/treatment areas are clean and neat
* Attends and provides input at all regular team meetings
* Assists with marketing, including events and any other promotions
* Attends continuing education as requested by management
* Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy
* Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation
* Successfully completed med spa competencies related to each applicable service
* Maintains current license(s) in good standing and provides updated copies when renewed to management

General Job Requirements:

* High SchoolDiploma or GED equivalency is required
* Registered Nurse Practitioner License issued by the State of Texas is required
* American HeartAssociation BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR and AED) Program is required
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification beneficial
* Must possess a valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for transportation
* Maintains patient/client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and company policy
* Maintains a high level of integrity with a strong ethical foundation
* Must have sound judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
* Must be able to stand for long periods of time
* Must be able to reach above shoulder height, crawl, kneel and push/pull up 50lbs
* Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends as required
* Working knowledge of Microsoft applications
* Must have strong oral and written communication skills, be highly organized and able to work independently with minimal supervision
