As a Registered Nurse on the Medical Cardiology unit, you will be joining a
team of professionals who are dedicated to deliver excellent care to our
patients. You will enable patients to reach their goals through care
specifically designed to cater to individual patient needs, and also
administered by some of the most highly skilled and trained providers in the
Rocky Mountain region.

What you will do in this role:

* You will provide age appropriate excellent care to your patients based on physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety and learning needs of the patient.
* You will be performing duties within the scope of your practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at our hospitals.
* You will work in inpatient acute setting.

What qualifications you will need for this role:

* Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license
* BSN preferred
* Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Current ACLS certification through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
* Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
* One year experience in acute care

Swedish Medical Center, part of HCA’s HealthONE, is located in the south metro

110 years. An acute care hospital with 408 licensed beds, annually Swedish
cares for more than 200,000 patients with a team of approximately 2,000

With stroke door to treatment times averaging just 20 minutes, Swedish serves
as the Rocky Mountain Region’s referral center for the most advanced stroke
treatment, and was the state’s first Joint Commission certified Comprehensive
Stroke Center. Swedish also serves as the region’s neurotrauma and orthopedic
trauma provider and is the area’s only level I trauma facility with a
dedicated burn and reconstructive center. Over 150 facilities regularly
transfer highly complex cases to Swedish.
