Texas Health Fort Worth seeks to hire a Manager Catheterization Lab. Our
dedicated and progressive team in our Cath Lab department cares for adult
patients with Cardiac, Peripheral Vascular or Electrophysiology related
disease. We are open 24/7 weekdays and our lab includes 6 suites and we
average 20 cases per day.

We are a Mission: Lifeline® Receiving Center, Joint Commission certified in
chest pain, heart failure and stroke and Intersocietal Accreditation
Commission (IAC) for echocardiography and vascular testing.

Salary range is Min. $94,868/year to Max. $145,745/year – based on relevant
experience

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Job Description

OPERATIONS / FISCAL MANAGEMENT:
Plan, organize, and delegate activities as required for safe, efficient, and
effective operation of the unit including active participation with other
hospital departments and leadership to accomplish this purpose.
Provide resources and guidance to support the utilization of evidence based
practice standards.
Identify and utilize processes and resources that support optimal delivery of
data and information to staff.
Facilitate activities that prepare unit, environment, and staff to meet
credentialing bodies requirements.
Identify key drivers in throughput process, evaluate areas role, and develop
solutions to barriers.
Prepare operating and capital budgets for areas of responsibility.
Manage the approved budget and adjust strategies as needed to meet budget
expectations.
Communicate information from management reports to direct care providers.

QUALITY PATIENT CARE OUTCOMES:
Plan, manage, patient care processes to improve performance
Facilitate delivery of quality patient care.
Require documentation that meets hospital and credentialing standards /
policy/guidelines
Demonstrates positive supportive role in change process.

HUMAN RESOURCES:
Responsible for staffing based on patient care needs.
Responsible for personnel functions including staff, performance reviews and
corrective action.
Promote professional growth and development of all employees.

departments and administration.

Incorporate customer needs and expectations into daily operations and business
planning strategies.
Promote team building strategies and principles of group process in
interaction with staff.

CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT
Develop, implement, monitor and assess processes that impact outcomes
Use benchmark data from internal and external sources to identify
opportunities for improvement of care delivery and safety.

PROFESSIONAL ACCOUNTABILITY
Recognize/communicate ethical and legal concerns through established channels

Promote and demonstrate the professional image of nursing in demeanor,

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications

Education
Bachelor’s Degree Nursing required

Experience
5 years clinical experience and 3 years progressive leadership experience
required

Licenses and Certifications
RN – Registered Nurse required upon hire

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support 30 Days Req And
BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support 30 Days Req

Skills
Proactive problem solving; good interpersonal, verbal and written
communication skills; basic computer skills; time management skills
