Outpatient clinics are best, they see patients but regular office visit very easy.

Research - check out the VA for study coordinator positions. Apply even it says Research Study Coordinator. Apply even if the job description says you aren't qualified. The VA has many openings. Also check with drug companies. They have offices across the nation. Good Luck!

Have you considered working as a health facilities evaluator nurse for your States public health dept. Your nursing knowledge is a perfect base for evaluating health care facilities.

Nurse triage, Case management, nurse educator, informatics nurse, legal nurse consultant, nurse or healthcare recruiter, insurance claims nurse, etc.
There are so many options and Google is your friend. Start searching on LinkedIn for "remote" or "telecommute" nurse and you should start seeing things pop-up. My colleague did nurse triage and shortly retired afterwards. She was phenomenal. Good luck!

Many insurance companies are recruiting remotely for telehealth nurses, utilization nurses and case managers. Pay attention to the job description, as added experience are sometimes required for using assessment tools: Milliman and Interqual also knowing coding.

If you still want to do direct patient care, a lot of near retirement nurses work for Kaiser Permanente.

If you don't and are a bit tech savvy; then, you can do a remote job and work from home. Typically those are case management, utilization nurse or working for a tech company/ insurance company.
