What kind of equipment and technology do you use in labor and delivery?

External fetal monitors (both for FHR and for contractions,) IV pumps, epidural pumps, US machines (at my hospital we aren't licensed to use them, but we need to know where it is, how to get it running, and have it ready for the MD,) and PCA pumps for the occasional non-epiduralized, non-spinal stat c/s pts. Also, we need to know how to monitor and troubleshoot internal monitors (FSE and IUPC,) as well as know which ones we're allowed to place vs OB only. Need to know how to read tracings from both internal and external monitors, and how to adjust them if they aren't showing what you need to see.
