As a new male nurse, I’m curious how you handle menstruation of patients in hospitals? Do you get help from female nurses or do you do it on your own?

You do it on your own, if you want a female to help the first few times it's fine. If the patient is able to talk ask them. This is a normal bodily function for half the population. Just make sure their pain is managed healthcare is bad at properly treating the associated pain in women so advocate for your pt.
