What are the benefits of full practice authority for nurse practitioners?

HUGE...
You are a full person not subject tot he whims of others who's belief is you are their to maximize them and be subjective to their care choices.
you no longer have to pay a physician for the "privilege" of having them as your medical supervisor.
It is much easier to set up your own practice, order the meds as you believe they are appropriate. If you want to do some out side work you can chose your course and plan.

Nevada went FPA in 2013 we have never looked back, the number of NP's in the state has increased because of the FPA status.
I have had my own business since 2009 and have had no collaborator since 2013. I have a unique practice that most doc would not understand. I set my own hours and collaborate with chinese medicine, craniosacral therapy, I doing addiction, family practice and can set my own work our in my cash only practice.

IS your own practice simple no- do you need a big office and bunch of staff no. Most of y time I do it all. When I had staff I never got a paycheck. post pandemic shutdown I am the person in the practice. Now have created a new practice with partners.

not for everyone but I for one am thrilled and thriving.
