When you have this much experience and I have 43, it should be easy to share what you have done over the years. Be proud of everything you have accomplished. You can be a mentor to many new young people coming into the field. These new nurses have no idea how to function. They have been told many things that are not true from their professors. When you feel good about yourself you with come off confident, humble, hungry for learning something new and rewards from a new path you are taking. You got this!!!

During the past 29 years as a LPN my experiences have been many. I started in LTC, then moving to Florida I found the most wonderful opportunity working in Assisted Living, I loved my jobs with all I worked for. I also was able to become a Resident Care Coordinator of a very beautiful Assisted Living in Venice, Florida, stayed with my residents during Hurricane Charlie in August of 2004, we all stayed safe. That year we sold our home in Englewood, Florida. Moved to Blue Ridge, Ga, was amazed with the beauty of the foot hill Mountains. There I worked for a amazing Home Health Company. It was there I the was Clinical manager assistant and I also worked in the field doing home visited when needed. I loved it, meeting need people, seeing many different types of life's. Some very rich and some very poor. But most all very lovely people. Later returning to Wisconsin I had gotten experience in working for a private practice doctor, also a wonderful job, small practice and he soon retired after I worked for him for 2 years. The I got get experience with a staffing agency that was contracted to staff at the DOC. There I saw and learned many things.
