As a new nurse grad, I am struggling to understand what should be included in my resume to be considered for new grad positions. I have friends with less experience that have obtained jobs and I can’t seem to get through

You need to write your resume so that it speaks about you. As a new Grad you should include:

a. Any positions you had, medical or not, what the duties encompassed, how you dealt with satisfied and unsatisfied clients.
b. Any Volunteer work you are/have been involved in. How you assisted your community-no matter how small it seems to you...it is important.
c. Any clubs you were involved in both in high school, university, church, etc.
d. Start doing extra CEUs in the area you are hoping to work...show the recruiter and leadership that you are dedicated to improving your skills to provide exceptional patient care.

Hang in there and good luck.

Have you tried insurance companies; all offer remote positions for RN's: many require that you have CCM, and give a grace period and some will pay for the certification. Companies include; BCBS, HUMANA, AETNA, CIGNA...all are FT, with FT benefits.
