I graduated from a not so well known college in South Bay, FL. Does it matter where you went to school for nursing for me to get a job easily?
A degree is a degree and there is a major nursing shortage in Florida. As long as you have a solid interview it doesn’t matter where you went to school. You learn most of it on the job anyway!
As long as your nursing school is accredited and it taught you enough to pass the NCLEX, you're good. Your resume and interview skills matter more. Employers spend a few seconds looking at resumes, so they will not care about the name of your nursing school, just that you did earn a degree. How and what you write about your clinical rotations is more important and other relevant work experience like being a CNA or EMT.
No ...it does not matter what school as long as it is accredited. You will be paid more for BSN regardless of the school.. I get paid for my skill and experience. My boss (head nurse/supervisor) has no idea what school I went to.
Absolutely not, your interview persona is much more important.
