Can someone give me their opinion on agency nursing, I’ve been working in acute care facilities and clinics for 8 months now, but never in a hospital, how is to work short term contracts as a new nurse to a hospital?

Most agencies hiring for hospital work want hospital experience -- from 6 months to 3 years depending on the specialty. Hospitals are a totally different environment. If you want to do hospital agency work, it's best to focus on what specialty you want to work and get a local job that will give you the experience you need.
