Why can't I get a job working from home? I have 19 years experience in ICU, home health, outpatient and hospice. I love doing chart reviews; I was a case manager in the outpatient setting for 11 years. What needs to be in my resume to be considered?

Greetings. All of your mentioned past experiences will be very helpful for a future job working from home. If you have a resume on sites like "Linked In" and "Indeed" and have had no response, consider seeking assistance with revising your resume from a professional. I am a recently retired RN with 50 years experience in Acute Care, Trauma, and Nursing Education. Since retirement, two years ago, recruiters have sought me out after searching on sites like "Indeed". Be prepared to have a private quiet place in your home to work. And be prepared to have the ability to set up the computer equipment , that will be sent to you, needed to perform your new job. Wishing you luck and sending positive energy your way.

Nothing. Your experience makes you too expensive for remote type jobs

Possibly an advanced practice nursing degree. Nursing generally isn't a home job where you can just be in front of a computer instead of dealing with patients right in front of you in real time. It would require a higher level of knowledge and critical thinking skills to be able to effectively work at home as a telehealth nurse. Unless of course you're really just doing chart work and other computer stuff like presentations.
