Boston Medical Center is a Magnet-designated hospital, and named as one of the Top Places to Work by Boston Globe. With more than 1,700 front-line nurses in the system, how to develop a sustainable workforce strategy to deliver quality care to patients has never been easy.

In this webinar, we will sit together with Nancy Gaden, DNP, RN, SVP and Chief Nursing Officer at Boston Medical Center to discuss Boston Medical Center’s 3 step approach to the Nursing Shortage.

During the webinar, Nancy will share,
– Nurse hiring and retention strategies
– Designing and building a workforce data system
– Career advancement for nurses at BMC
– How to hire new graduated nurses

Nancy has been named one of the 130 Women Hospital and Health Leaders to Know from 2015-2021, and in 2020 Nancy was named to the Becker’s “50 Hospital and health system CNOs to know”. She was the 2018 recipient of the American Nurses Association’s Massachusetts President’s Award, and received the 2019 Excellence in Leadership Award from the New England Organization of Nurse Leaders. In September 2020, Nancy was among ten women honored by The Commonwealth Institute as a recipient of their 2020 Extraordinary Women Advancing Healthcare Award for being a “remarkable leader shaping healthcare in Massachusetts.” In 2020 she was honored to receive a Daisy Lifetime Achievement award.
