Qualifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
  • Master's Degree in Nursing Education or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred
  • Experience in education and staff development
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement educational programs tailored to the needs of nursing staff, including orientation, in-service training, and continuing education
  • Conduct regular assessments to identify educational needs and competency gaps within the nursing team
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, department managers, and administrative staff to ensure that educational initiatives align with hospital policies and procedures
  • Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, providing expert advice and guidance on best practices in nursing care
  • Maintain accurate records of educational activities, and evaluate program effectiveness through feedback surveys and other metrics
