Hospitals on Incredible Health are actively hiring and accepting applications in the Hamilton Township, NJ area for the following position: Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health. Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Behavioral health, Counseling, Intake, Medication side effects, PTSD, Psychosomatic Medication Interactions, Suicide and self harm risk assessment, or Therapeutic nurse/patient relationship.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
- 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment
- Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects
- Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare support
