Everyone has their own opinion of what is considered difficult. If you are referring to skills, you get education and oriented to the job, and the longer you do it, the more you learn the more comfortable you become. As far as emotionally, I loved it. Were there hard times, sure. But there is so much more happy. Getting to bond with families and celebrate with them when babies reach different milestones is so rewarding. Hope that helps.
