Was given offer prior to and hired immediately after graduation and nclex pass.

Your best bet is to watch for job fairs where you are able to meet and greet managers to score an interview. There are from time to time job postings for new grads on hospital career pages that you could also shoot for.

Lastly, you have a better chance to obtain for lower level ER’s, that’s not to say not to apply for a level 1 trauma ER, just know that your chances a extremely slim as that’s where most people want to end up so don’t be disappointed.

If level 1 trauma er is truely where your heart lies - I’d strongly recommend starting at a lower level er for a year or two - to get experience in basic er care, obtain tncc cert, and possibly cen cert. this would make you a more enticing candidate if your new grad application doesn’t pan out.

Get credentialled. TNCC, PALS, ACLS, NIHSS, BLS/AED and CSRN. Show how motivated you are by writing a cover letter outlining your passion for nursing and learning. What can you bring to the job? Fast learner/motivated to help others/team player. Good luck!
