Search for International recruiters. You might have to take additional classes in nursing to qualify for the English proficiency exam and the NCLEX. The German diploma has no weight in the US. Als Deutsche bin ich nach Kanada gezogen und habe meine ausbildung Dort gemacht. Es war viel billiger dort Al’s in den staaten. Dann schrieb ich beide staats exam Kanada und US und arbeite in Colorado

Nurses in Europe are educated very differently than here in the US. You will likely have to go to nursing school again, at least for the second year. I have heard of state nursing boards granting LPN licensure to foreign nurses but you have to submit all of your education for review. Nurses here in the US do a lot more than nurses in Germany. We are extremely autonomous and do IVs, ports, medication administration, G tubes, central line dressing changes, manage vents, etc.
