Has anyone had any luck getting a labor and delivery job?

most hospitals are looking for experienced L&D nurse, It takes along time to train a L&D nurse, she must know not only how to interpret fetal monitoring strips she must know the high risk complications that can occur in labor.

I was able to get a L&D position right after I graduated. I feel that it’s much easier now to get into a speciality that you want now compared to before. So, don’t let people telling you otherwise deter you from applying.
