Are you sure it's the hospital and not the agency you're looking at that requires it?

Do not give up, you will eventually find an agency that will find u work. I have over 25 years experience and they did not want to give the credit because I was out of hospital since 2012. Even though I worked in private fully accredited O.R.s. Try small companies. Cynet is a good one

Are you planning on pursuing a travel nurse position with your one year of post nursing school experience?

Reach out directly to someone in Human Resources via email asking if they are hiring for any positions and attach your resume. Just talk to a nurse who was hired at the hospital you want to work at over the past few years and ask them for the email address of the person in HR who hired them. This is much better than applying on the website - a human being wont see your resume because the computers algorithm will see you dont have 2 years and will automatically disqualify you whereas a human will converse with you and recognize your value. Good luck.

Do not give up most hospitals need only one year experience. I am surprised that they are asking for two years. Keep on applying someone will call you one day or you can go for traveling assignment or Registry.

Don't get discouraged....keep looking. Some agencies don't mind accepting RNs with less than 2 years of experience. The current market is always changing and travel nurses are in great demand.

For most of Arizona, you have to have 2 years of experience before they will accept you as a travel nurse. However, other states will allow you to travel with only 1 year of experience and great recommendations.
