How much do RN make in Outpatient Oncology clinics in Miami, Fl

October 12th, 2022

I’m not sure but take into consideration (if you haven’t already) that this is a specialized area so you need to be certified in administration of chemotherapy if it’s that type of clinic (oncology infusion centers). You have to be a certified oncology nurse, the certification is not easy from my understanding from past coworkers - and you have to meet certain criteria to apply for the certification exam and you have to maintain and re-certify every 4yrs. And it’s expensive like $400 (but many employers will cover the cost of the certification). In general I find outpatient settings more often than not pay less than inpatient/hospital settings.
