If you used to be an LPN and move to being an RN, is your LPN experience factored into job offers or pay?

Varies with the institution or workplace...generally not. A new Rn is considered a NEW RN and all have the same skill levels in the new level. Very rarely is the past experience considered in salary even if it is the deciding factor between applicants.

This has frustrated many a new LPN-RN over the years.

Same bias happens when experienced RN move into a an NP pr CS slot. Many take a pay cut because they are starting over....
