It can vary. I have worked 5 8 hour shifts, 4 10 hour shifts or 3 12 hour shifts. Usually thirteen week assignment. Any time off is negotiated at interview time and added to your contract. Can work 52 weeks a year or 39 weeks or 26 weeks per year. Depends on how you want to live. I was only working 9 months out of the year when I was traveling.
