Why can’t I get an interview? I’m a new grad & all of my applications get reviewed & never get selected to interview. I want to start in L&D/PP so I know that’s a part of it, but I’ve talked to so many nurses that started as new grads in a specialty.

I am also a new grad that struggled with this. I finally got one interview, out of many many many applications! It seems very competitive right now with regard to new graduate programs. I would say keep your eye on opportunities that come up, keep applying, and have someone look over your resume. Perhaps there is a way you can spruce it up and make it more appealing to employers. I would also suggest being open to med/surg or other specialties before L&D if you continue to not get any leads. You can gain valuable skills and lateral to L&D overtime.
