Curbside consults are tricky. Answer based on knowledge and not as a nurse. Liability, can bite should your answer lead to harm. Real or perceived.

I nicely let them know that I am not qualified to diagnose or give medical advice. . Doctors do the diagnosing. My qualifications are to treat the diagnosis and make my patients as comfortable as possible.

I always say Im not a physician. I’m sure there are many answers to your questions but I’d rather leave it up to the experts.
