What is the longest time one of your patients remained in the hospital? Why?

I've heard of a patient staying 1 year but they had a really awful case of West Nile Virus. My personal account was 7 months. Found down, intubated, trached and pegged , and unfortunately unfunded. Took a while to get him placed in long term care.
