Medical-surgical/Telemetry RN for almost 3 years and been trying to get into pediatrics. I did an in-person interview and panel interview for peds last year, but never got any updates. What can I do to standout for a peds position this time?

You may want to discuss with the Pediatric Manager/Director regarding your desire to be in Pediatrics-- that this is where your heart is and that your MedSurg experience can benefit you in Pediatrics despite the differences. You need to demonstrate that you are aware of the differences between adult patients and children. You may have to go through an orientation or cross training . I would really make an appointment to speak with the director .
