Hi I have been a nurse for ten years mostly SNF, and some COVID stuff. I want to work in a hospital but all I see are new grad programs or must have previous hospital experience? I have no such experience and I’m not a new grad, any suggestions?

I would still apply as you do have experience. Check into the Nursing Fellowships that the hospitals offer as these are geared toward registered nurse who is wanting to change specialties or just needs more experience.

I am in the same situation. I have been a nurse for almost 3 years, but in one specialty field (allergy, asthma, immunology) and have been trying to branch out, but I cannot get my foot in the door, because I have no hospital experience. I would love more advice if anyone has it?
