Can I get a job with the VA as someone with only a few months experience?

I've recently applied for an informatics position with the VA and there is an RN "level" for new nurses. As you progress in experience, you move up a level and get a pay bumb. The benefits are great, so I would encourage you to apply. If I had started there as a new grad, I would be able to retire now!
