Can new grads work anywhere else besides bedside?

I would not recommend it you need that base to be successful. Get your fundamental skills do med surg for a year or two first, than advance.

Yes, check to see if the hospital has a residency program. They usually have OB, ER, and ICU. Caveat, you must be graduated w/in the last 12 months... check the hospital for a residency program.
