First pick the seasoned ones of your team that displays integrity, eager to learn, teach others & wants to grow & share knowledge.
Pair them with other new nurses & for professional development they can choose a subject to educate or choose project to share with other team members to make unit run smoother.
This gives them something to use on their yearly evaluations & entire team wins.
Everyone needs to work together & novice nurses need to know they have support from seasoned nurses. It’s easy when everyone works together, be nice. When I had a shift with good teamwork- when your shift was over - it was like you hadn’t even pulled a shift- then you could stay over & make overtime 🤣. Good luck.
