What jobs can you suggest for someone who is looking to leave school nursing? Haven't been in a hospital in many years and when I was, it was a psych nurse. New certs to obtain to help?

Make sure to have your BLS and I would suggest having ACLS as well

Many of the larger hospitals/systems offer “nurse refresher” courses for those who’ve been out of the hospital for a while. If they do not, ask about length of orientation. BLS/ACLS/PALS are helpful, but may also be offered at no cost if required. Depending on your location, consider a free-standing ED.
Happy Hunting!
