Get out of the hospital system. There are other nursing jobs. Most hospitals are corporate owned and will tow the current political line of thinking. If you are in a blue state, get to a red one. Not all red states are equal as well. Do your research. If hospital nursing is a must for the time being, then consider travel nursing. I have heard most travel contracts do not require the mandate but I also assume that is for the 25 states that are exempt from the CMS mandate. You can also have a local travel contract. I did for 12 years.
Almost every hospital is going to require it due to Biden withholding Medicare reimbursement to any company not requiring it. You can thank all those who voted for him.
Arkansas does not have a vax mandate for health care workers. You may have to submit an exemption depending on the facility.
