In Pennsylvania, you can prescribe out of state if that patient is already established with you in your home state.

If you have a license and prescriptive authority in the state in which you are sending the medication. If it is a compact state and you live and are licensed in a compact state, you should be able to. Always check with the BON in the state you are prescribing to.

Depends. Not usually but I have ordered antibiotics for patients who were out of state on vacation without a problem as they were my patients. Then there are licenses that cover more than one state. Ohio does not have that.
