What are the advantages and disadvantages of being a nurse?

Suggestion. Nursing is incredibly broad. You would have to be more specific to have a useful answer. The most general answer I can think of is, nursing is a credential which is attached to you. You own that credential. Your employer does not own it. You do. That gives you the power to walk away and that is a huge advantage. Disadvantage I suppose would be....it ain't free?

Like any profession nursing has it's advantages and disadvantages. Being undervalued is the biggest disadvantage. There are lists of pros vs. cons depending on the nursing position and experience.
