How can I find out if my employer is willing to hire a nurse with a compact state license?

It shouldn’t be an issue if you have a compact license and are applying for a job in a compact state. You will have to change your license if you make the new compact state your permanent residence. I had a compact license in Georgia then I moved to Florida. Florida became my permanent residence so I had to apply for a Florida compact license. Each states laws are different. I had my Florida compact license in 4 hours. Simple process.
