Nursing is a field that I knew that I would retain as my future career. As the human body satisfied me in a way that allowed me to see that it is this complex foreign meachican, that no human on this earth still understands entirely. I find it amusing how the human body has different roles that each allow an organism to work, but they communicate with each other to perform them. If one part of the organism is not working properly, I say sarcastically that the other organs would cry, and would want that organ to heal. So that they can work together happily. I remember when I had an incident when one of my legs was injured. Me being satire I said to myself, Its okay your brother will heal soon, which would be the other leg. I found going into the nursing field helps organs heal within and other systems in the body would not feel pity now that I helped heal the person. I also feel in love with nursing, because nursing is a field where you get to have person centered care. Person centered care to me is different. Person centered care is interacting with patients by actually touching them. Touch is a scene of love and effectiveness that I believe will make somebodys day. It's just the little things that matter the most. Also, I believe person centered care is getting to actually understand your patients. When you do, you would know if they are themself of not. This is very important because not everyone speaks their feelings towards others. They hide it. However, if a nurse interacts with their patients. They build a relationship, and the nurse can understand and feel pity for that patient. I also wanted to become a nurse because when you have your nursing degree, it opens many doors towards your profession. For instance, you can be a travel nurse, you can work in the ICU, Emergency room, or a labor and delivery nurse. Whereas, If you go into a profession that is in the medical field, like an OBGYN. They only focus on women's reproductive cycle, and if they really get sick of their job, they have to go back to school and find another degree. A nurse can go into different nurse fields which is amazing. What makes me a special or unique nurse, is allowing myself to feel others peoples feelings when they are going through hardship. I do not know how, or when it started, but I can recognize when other people are not feeling themself, based on how they look. I believe that having this skill is the most captivating thing that someone can have and it can outrule many other things like if you have bad grades. Having this skill allows nurses to signify that they care about other people, and that they have a sense of sympathy. It also allows nurses to connect and show love to their patients, which everyone needs.
