Im currently an RN living in Nevada and have plans on moving to Canada in the far future. Any tips or things I need to know before actually making plans on my move?

If you have the slightest opportunity to avoid such a move - grab on to it. Lived 17 years in Canada, got my nursing degree there, worked as RN for 10 years. DO NOT go there. Unless you do not like the money. Taxes 44 percent in reality (95 000 salary, 54 000 you take home), ridiculous car insurance prices, absolutely unaffordable for RN real estate market. Sixty percent of population are Asians who hate you simply because you are white. Canadian free of charge medicine is not worth it. Besides, it is 50 years behind American. If you want to die in Canadian emergency room they will grant you this opportunity. Stay in Nevada!

Hi. Do find an international recruiter from Canada. You will need a work visa for Canada. And you need to write the Canadian board’s exam as well. Write it early since results take time to come thru. Ontario and Vancouver are very beautiful places to live.
