I’m a single parent working nights. Soon 3 years as an RN-BSN and 1 year as ANM in June. The ICU has been asking me to come there and I want to continue growing but I’m debating aiming for a M-F for my 10yo sake. Thoughts or recommendations?

You can always do 3 * day shifts per week in the ICU and have 4 days off with your kid. Nights are hard on kids cuz you have to leave them with someone at night and you will be sleeping during the day and not available for school functions and things that they need you to be at.
Also working M-F during the DAY shifts work too.
