Hello everyone! I have been an LPN for 24 years and am in school for my ADN. Will my experience as an LPN count towards my RN in terms of pay? Your input is greatly appreciated.

Some organizations will count those years towards pay. They should definitely count if there are RN opportunities at your current place of work. This is a very appropriate question to ask during your interview process.

The hospital I’m at every LPN 5years counted as 1 yr RN which did bump you up the pay scale , I had been an LPN for 23 years so received credit of 4 yrs plus what I had already worked as RN

It did for me....I was a LPN for 22 years & received 10 yrs experience towards my RN pay....so I wasnt starting out as a "new" RN when I graduated last May.

Probably not. Get your RN and start making some bank. The pay is usually the same whether you have your ADN, 3 year RN or BSN.
