Any NICU nurses out there? How is your bedside experience? (I am a new nurse about to start in the NICU). Any advice is appreciated. Thank you.

Fellow NICU nurse here!! I’ve been in NICU for 6 years now and I absolutely love it! Seriously can’t imagine doing anything else. Recently started travel nursing in NICU and it’s still been great. My advice: you will never know everything, so be open to learning and ask ask ask your questions! A good nurse knows when to ask for help!

I found it rewarding. I worked at a teaching hospital. The orientation and training was top notch!
