I am having a difficult time getting into a hospital setting. I have yrs peds experience. As lead RN in pediAtric clinic, home are. I’m getting put into the home category when I’m doing chemotherapy, infusions via ports cath and central lines.

Do you have your BSN? It might be helpful to get your ACLS (and any other relevant advanced certifications like PALS). I also suggest applying for ambulatory/outpatient positions within a hospital.

Also, some hospital have residency programs for new nurses/experienced nurses without hospital experience. I just applied to an operating room nurse residency program.
