Is it possible for a primary care NP to return to bedside nursing to build acute/inpatient experience?

Absolutely! I don't think that would be a problem, however the roles defer and I feel you may get more experience with practice in the primary care setting vs going in patient.

Thanks Sherry! I’ve been applying but for where I am (Bay Area) I haven’t had much luck. Not sure if they don’t believe me, or if it’s not worth retraining me since it’s been 5+ yrs since I’ve done any RN stuff (and even then, it was more outpatient stuff)
