Hospitals, home health and hospice hires triage nurses. Your ER experience is a good plus.

That's easy to answer, be a travel nurse. California seems to have lots of opportunities for that. I have a CA license in addition to one in a compact state just becaue I can get work there. You can decide how log your assignments are usually, sometimes they are set for 13 weeks tho.
