What is your favorite part of being a pediatric nurse?

My favorite part was showing up. I was a pediatric nurse at Bayada and I did home care for children with special needs and just showing up for your shift is rewarding especially to a family who is relying on you. It also gives the parents time to rest and just exhale knowing that their child is receiving continuous care.

Making a difference in a child’s life. I’ve had a lot of patients with no one there to just be with them. Parent has 5 more at home and no time. Putting a smile on their little faces…best feeling in the world 😊
