I am a 54 year old new grad (BSN) in San Diego and I am having a very difficult time getting into any new grad residency program. Is there any advice someone may have?

I am 55 and just got into a new nurse residency in Florida…, but I didn’t do anything special. Contact HR at the facilities?!??
