Are there any specific infection control protocols or practices followed in the hospital that differ from those in long-term care?

There should be. LTC in the county I live in is horrible right down to staff not changing their gloves between patients or not wearing them at all. I have a relative who has been in two facilities the last eight months. I’m talking about LTC. The hospitals are pretty good about infection control for the most part - stricter adherence.
