What job is good for retired peds nurse (35 years inpatient, Peds ED, PICU, vaccine research, adjunct faculty for Comm college and office staff/triage phone nurse. But unfortunately didn’t renew my license a few years ago

Without an active nursing license, you can use your skills to be a coder. That is a very lucrative field and home based. I also found out that nurses can work in QA and risk without an active license but it depends on where you work. The amount of work you would have to do to get your license reinstated would be immense. Everything has changed since covid. You would have to take RN review courses on line. Check with dept of education in your state what is required for you to get your license reinstated or look for the coding/consultant jobs. Nurse/medical writer is one. Maybe you could work in the college as a guest lecturer or teacher. Ask them
