How do nurses wear their hair for clinicals?

I always wore my long hair in a tight braid. It ensured that I didn't get hair in anything and being a Trauma/ ER nurse if an unruly patient grabbed my hair one cut and I was free.

It also might be helpful to wear a surgical cap. You never know what you’ll get your hair into. Best to keep it away from everything.

Usually up in a ponytail or bun. Keeps it out of the way from potential unwanted or accidental mishaps 😉
